I would have given the series a 5 however what should have been about a little girl has taken a gross deviation to push the LGBTQ agenda. I’ve read Anne of Green Gables and this is not it.

I don't remember when I began watching The Amazing Race but it caught my attention through teams racing around the world showing their endurance, perseverance and sometimes willingness to help their opposing teams. Because of this I started watching the earlier seasons but I am now rethinking whether I want to continue watching as I am seeing a common theme in this game. At the end of an episode the last team to make it to the finish line (mat) is eliminated. Seems pretty fair right? But it appears that there is also a caveat that allows for a "non-elimination" round which appears to be at the host's discretion. It seems as though the game is rigged in some way to allow the host's favorites to continue and the underdogs to be permanently eliminated. Sadly the teams that are eliminated are teams that often could use the money.

Before I begin let it be known that this is my view of the show. Everyone else had their say without any backtalk. If you don’t like my view/review move on past. We don’t have to agree and until you walk in someone else’s shoes those who have a problem with what I am about to say will always have something to say. Having said that I will say that when it comes to games in which money is the driving force first of all the ratio of White to Black players is never even. And trust it is not because Blacks are the minority in society. But to be honest I don’t see what all the hoopla is about. White people make mistakes in this and other games all of the time but they are never berated, belittled or maligned the way the Blacks are. Then CBS so handily always puts together footage that makes it look like Blacks are shiftless and lazy which is the stereotype that has been thrust upon us for hundreds of years. Too many times people of other ethnicities and cultures are the first to be voted off because the Whites on the show are either prejudiced against them or afraid of them beating them in the game. Footage proves this as this is what is said. As long as they can be useful to the players they are kept around but not for long. It’s what is called entitlement for sure. Until it is seen for what it is any other view will always be a problem. Again, this is my view. You do not have to like it or agree.

First time seeing the movie with my grands. Cannot say that I am overly impressed. I can appreciate the vibrant colors but the underlying message of friendship and working together to accomplish a common goal began with disregard for sound advice. That led to having no respect for other's property which placed one of the Troll's in a situation that he wanted no part of which further pushed him out of his home to help clean up a mess of someone else's making. The movie certainly teaches children how to disrespect other's property and space all while thinking it is funny.

I like the cartoon but there are some areas that need to be rethought. While the education of land, sea and air creatures is exemplary there are subtle prejudices of the characters that is teaching children about stereotypes. For example the characters of Fabio, a muscle bound male with full, blond hair, muscular upper body and almost non-existent legs or even Koki with the husky voice and multiple ear piercings. These characters are not the norm. Otherwise the premise on which the show is built around is fun.
