What the critics fail to see in this episodic, short-sighted as it seems, is that this is in large part a comedy. And the Brilliance of Jeff Daniels playing good guy bad guy and comic relief is something you d see very few actors capable of doing. Not to mention The Supporting cast, Impeccable writing, beautiful cinematography and a pedigree of story structure seldom seen in a story supported by peripheral stories that intertwine so beautifully. I can't say enough about this show. Thoroughly impressed is what I will say.
