Chai Jia Hao

My take : Honestly, it might be just a problem with my expectations as it was through the roof, but this movie did not deliver to me. It's still a good film but I felt that the ending left much to be desired. I felt that the movie could've been so much more if the screenwriting was better. Again, it might be my bias but I feel that the movie could learn a thing or two from Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark about characters and their stakes as I did not once feel that any of the characters were in real danger throughout the movie. Again, I do not dislike this movie but I do feel slightly disappointed as overall, stake was low, jump scares were more or less the same as IT:1 and plot was very messy. It felt as if the movie could use more fine tuning.
