Excellent acting; characters that I thought I would hate, I ended up having sympathy towards and vice versa. There are no simple good or bad characters. I agree with an earlier poster who mentioned Lucienne's facial expression (singular) throughout the series. Maybe would make for a good drinking game - a sip of wine every time Lucienne's mouth hangs agape.
