I’ve listened to this series on audible several times. The story is loosely following the books. In the books, Jack has a military haircut, Mel is a blond, Paige is her real name and she doesn’t work in a food trailer. She doesn’t come into the Jack and Mel story in the beginning of their story. Doc and Hope were not married. Mel’s sister did not live in LA and have marital problems. Jack DID have a very good relationship with his father. Mark did not die from a car wreck..... Why make a series if your going to change a lot of the details?!?? TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!
