Omfg I was NOT prepared for the emotional knockout punch of Instant Family. How had I never watched this movie before? It got sooo many things right and absolutely gutted me at the end. Thank you, Sean Anders and John Morrison, for your attention to detail and all the care taken to craft this story, wow. There are sooo many children going through sooo many challenges at any single moment, and still expected to handle their lives, their emotions, their responsibilities while parenting themselves. Thank you for showing that love and consistency, acceptance tempered with patience and structure, can help a child flourish. Love, love, love this movie!!!
