Not sure what it is, but it just doesn't hit like it should. Maybe the characters are just too stubbornly hateful? Like the US today? Just too much exhausting, hurtful, selfish nonsense.

Ridiculous. Some good points but eliminated by the entire series of events.

I found way more enthralling than shows like Scandal and Quantico. The female lead was intelligent, clever, strong, and raw. The series didn't revolve around romantic involvements and rotating partners. It focused on the story and kept true to the "thrill" it promised. I blasted through the entire season and hoped to read news of another season. Disappointed to learn otherwise. We need more shows like The Enemy Within and less of the glorified smut that tears down any admirable qualities a female lead would otherwise have. Recommend this show to anyone seeking action and a good backstory.
