I related to this novel, having grown up around the same time/era. The point of view of Eddie as a young teen; his relationship with his parents and teammates brought me back to a time in my life long forgotten. Young Eddie’s desire to become a star baseball player in the face of his critical father and team bullies leads to his encounter with the glove’s supernatural forces. The story managed to engage my own imagination, to wonder if good fortune must balance with dark forces in order to continue. Check this one out for sure!
