If I could give it 0 stars I would have TW: spoilers As someone who can even see the goodness in some of the newer instalments to the JW franchise I could not recommend this film to anyone. As I walked out the cinema I could tell I was not alone. While I was reluctant at first to get on board with mutant dinosaurs and convoluted health cures, I immediately found myself more frustrated with the characters over anything else. Back stories were both over emphasised and irrelevant, dialogue was sloppy and out of place, I couldn’t force myself to care about anyone. Overall every actor’s talent was wasted, same as the dinosaurs. The D-rex caused me to come into the film slightly cautiously, as I wasn’t sure how Universal would get away with yet another hybrid monstrosity breaking loose in this franchise. However, I obviously didn’t need to worry too much as it only featured for 10 minutes in an anticlimactic ending. This film was nothing short of TERRIBLE, completely unwatchable. JW4: Rebirth would have worked out better as a miscarriage.
