I found it very painful to look at I hate the CG style they have gone with. The orginal style for me is one of the defining points to the whole Ghost in the shell SAC (it was this style of animation that drew me into the whole Ghost in the shelll series in the first place back then). The new CG style has put me off watching the whole series
