First off, I am a huge Rob Zombie fan. I know from reading his reasoning that Captain Spaulding couldn’t be fully utilized because in real life he’s 80 years old and unfortunately struggling in the hospital. It’s sad and I hope he starts getting better, but getting sick in your old age can just unfortunately happen out of the blue. Overall, my opinion was being so excited and I bought a pass for me and my wife the moment I heard about the three day showing, but after viewing it was NOTHING like the macabre horror that Zombie made you feel in the first two films. The Three from Hell scenes seemed like the acting was forced and just didn’t flow like the other movies did so I was very disappointed. About the only thing I enjoyed was seeing Otis and Baby’s character back on the screen together. Unlike the other two movies I’ll probably never watch this one again versus wanting to watch the other ones any chance I get.
