Well, I have to say I was bowled over by this excellent horror. A modern day Tales of the Unexpected, which is praise indeed, of the highest order. Combining that with a feel of Children of the Corn, you have a very unique and eerie film. You can literally feel Chris's awkwardness in those 'pause for effect' moments.

A dream team casting...The trio of Sean Penn, Kevin Bacon and Tim Robbins playing blinders. The film for me depicts a classic case of fearing an unknown quantity and misinterpreted person. This awkward and unorthodox character is played by Tim Robbins, who was born to play the role. A beautiful twist near the climax.
