What a movie... What we were longing for, from our tamil stars, but rarely ever got,because somewhere along the way, the director feels he has to meet the fans' expectations of their stars..., thus disappointing... But then comes Vikram... Great balancing act where no charcter is sidelined. Where each actor has delivered his part with a sharpness that adds valie to the final product... Never seen Fahad in action in Malayalam.So what a treat... Not since Vettaiyadu vilaiyadu, have we seen Kamal in such a crisp role... Lokesh is in his element with night, blasts, drug mafia... But keeps us engaged for the whole 3 hours... Very interesting interlinking of kaithi and vikram storyline.. Again, a rarity in Tamil cinema. Kudos. Last but not least Anirudh's music. Was familiar with the singles already released butbstill he has amazed us with the bgm and overall mood setting. Pokanda singam👌👌👌 Dont miss.

Having watched all the 4 prior cbi movies over the last 34 years,I was wondering what else new could the franchise offer. But K Madhu - S N Swamy - Mammootty team has once again woven their magic. A good story told in a way that keeps us interested till the very end. A climax that is good, though not brilliant... They could have avoided a couple of very forgettable characters and maintained better pace. Still I will say it has done justice to be part of the franchise. Sethurama Iyer is still as delightfully,cool, composed and dignified as we remember him originally.I personally enjoyed the movie better than the 4th, as the director has toned down the melodrama and made it more palatable. They have managed to retain a little bit of drama as compared to the slick thrillers we get to see these days, but in a good way... kudos to the team👍👍
