Horrible show. I realize it is a fictional show, merely depicting an era, and one must suspend and expectation of accuracy or reality, but this show is more fantasy than fiction. From the writing to the acting, I don't have much positive to say. Some of the supporting actors seem good at their craft, even with less than compelling writing. There, that's pretty much it. The lead character is not well cast. The actress over acts every scene she is in, and she makes silly faces in an effort to be expressive. The costums leave much to be desired, as do the story lines. It is, however, the 21st century sensibilities, dressed up in something masquerading as 1920's attire that makes it unwatchable for me.

I wanted to like it. I really did. I tried, but I just do not get Taylor Tomlinson's humour. I like the Comedy Central version. Chris Hardwick was great, but Tomlinson is so very dry. I find her delivery more annoying than funny. This one is not for me.
