This movie was very heartwarming. It really displays how someone who loses a loved one can feel so hurt and abandoned and not wanting to continue to go on living without them. Tom Hanks does such a great job even though he portrays some grumpiness along the way as the story unfolds you see his character evolve and become needed by his community and he realizes he serves a purpose in life and he does matter! It flashes back to how his life was with his wife and you begin to feel what he must have went through and how much pain he must have felt losing her. This movie showed “humanity” and how important it is to care for other human beings and embrace and accept their differences. Beautiful movie, would watch it again.
