Though this movie has many faults; mainly within the messy climax, peculiar pacing, and unnecessary romantic subplot. Tim Burton makes up for it with what he does best and that is constructing an amazing atmosphere and mood and Johnny Depp's amazing acting which brings the peculiar Barnabas Collins to life. Overall the film though not a masterpiece is an entertaining watch if like me you love classic vampire tropes and Johnny Depps quirky acting.
