I was super excited to see this movie. I left extremely confused & disappointed. It started out amazing & the visuals were stunning, but the story just wasn't well written & it got more boring as it went on. I think Bill Skarsgård did as good a job as he could with what he was given. Count Orlok was supposed to be terrifying & he just wasn't. He looked more like a half decomposed hunchback gypsy? The constant asthmatic wheezing (From an undead supernatural being?) was weird & annoying, not to mention his super thick & barely comprehensible accent. It felt dull & drawn out with not enough horror. This movie had so much potential to be incredible but for me, personally, it really fell short.

Literally the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. Had super high expectations after ‘Get out’ & wanted to leave after an hour. Nothing made any sense. The dialogue made no sense. It tried to be funny but wasn’t & tried to be scary but wasn’t. The trailer duped me into thinking it was about Aliens but it’s actually a giant cowboy hat that hides in clouds & eats horses? Blows my mind that anyone could watch this & think it was remotely good.
