Visually stunning movie with best acting I've seen from a full roster of b list actors. However plot made no sense. It feels like they wanted a close encounters/signs esc movie however had no feasible way to actually write aliens in the movie. You spend 70% of the movie with alien mystery and suspense only to be let down in a weird 'other place' sequence which simultaneously explains away the main mystery in the movie and breaks the aliens very reasoning for showing up leaving you wondering why they were even there. A+ movie if you like the smell of Carl strathies flatulence. 2 stars for good lighting and stunning camera work.
