Halfway through the first long interview scene, I thought it would make a good stage play. But...we were confronted later by Tar and another, sitting in the concert hall, several seats apart, facing the stage. Where was the camera? BEHIND them...Erm helloooo. No, not a stage play. And nowhere near enough music. But I guess that was not the point, not her struggles to discover the composer's music...but other not-as-interesting themes shoved forwards. Sorry but it felt like a complete waste of time...
