Mr. Byron Allen, this review is for YOU!!
I have watched The People’s Court most of my life, from Judge Wapner through Mayor Koch and then Judge Milian. Loved the old format and have no clue why it was changed. Whoever decided it was a good idea to mess with a winning formula was sorely mistaken. The whole appeal of the show was that it had “real cases with the actual litigants”.
I still love Judge Milian but can’t watch the new show as the “litigants” are OBVIOUSLY actors (and really bad ones at that). It is just a cookie cutter show just like all of the others on right now.
Why, why, why was it necessary to change from a winning format? Basically all you did was take an award winning show and morph it into just another “judge show”.
Judge Milian had plenty of air time on the old show and it was interesting to see her actually interact with the litigants (regular people).
Please, please bring back the old tried and true format that served us so well for over 30 years!
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!!!
I will not watch the new show anymore as it is downright painful to watch the bad actors continually overact. It is REALLY BAD!
Please bring back the old format that we all fell in love with so many years ago.
Mr. Allen you horribly missed the mark with this one. Please try to redeem your dignity by canceling this awful show and bringing back the one that outlasted all of the others.
