I thought this was a really well made film. I watched the BBC version in 1979. Vera Brittain is one of my "heroines" and the film brings home how horrific WW1 was and makes one realise that to wear ones heart on ones sleeves (as a lot of people do today) is not always the best way forward. Well worth watching this film.
