Peele can deliver a story in an original fashion but yet keep in that familiar, old school feel that us die hard horror fanatics crave but seem to miss out on these last 10 years. It's been hit & miss but with Jordan Peele's last two efforts it's been a bloody hit back to back. US has to be my favorite so far. It's got everything from comedy, suspense, plot twist and just a good ol old school "Hitchcockian" story that keeps you constantly on edge. At least it all worked for me and I'm pretty critical on my beloved genre these days. Remakes & Reboots is the dominate trend now and it's nice when a new filmmaker comes along with a film like US that makes me feel so freakin good to be a horror fanatic. Final thoughts on the film.... Love It!

A modern classic, from the look, feel, music and of course acting. This is one of those films that only comes around every so often. I remember being blown away the first time I seen it back in 08. I picked it up thinking it might be up there with Young Guns or Tombstone because of the cast. Nope, not even on the same level as those flicks at all. And that's not taking anything away from them. This is just like a beautiful tragedy unfolding in a way that's not really been done before. I'm glad it's kind of a "Cult Classic". Us fans of this gem truly have something special that surpasses the art of modern film and is automatically placed in the seat of a masterpiece.

Reading the other reviews. I see where this can be a propaganda piece. I thought it was well done personally. I gave 4 stars on how it was made. But I do see the one sidedness. Alot of unanswered questions still remain. But as far as insightful from people part of this whole ordeal. It was a well done documentary.
