Really strong first two episodes. It starts off with a real dark tone with suicide and mental health. Then suddenly and thank you to money, the protagonist is over his traumatic history and then it turns into an attempt at Death Note with Power Rangers and angels. It’s similar to Death Note in the sense that the protagonist and antagonist have to abide by a supernatural rule set to outsmart and checkmate one another. The protagonist refuses to make hard decisions which makes up a good chunk of the supposed dramatic tension of the show. We lost a lot of interest when realized they were just trying to do Death Note with way less interesting characters with shoehorned high tech armor.
