Edward Kay

Unlike the 1st part, this has no feel. Everything's just dumped in and you're disengaged from any of the characters. A lot of next level CGI powers, but comical, especially the car chase scene early in the movie. Same director but came out different. Now we wait for part 3 and possibly more.

This is SK's Michael Bay. Throw the storyline and senses out the window, and just enjoy the long bumpy ride. Carter makes The Predator, John Wick and Rambo look like boy scouts.

If you don't think, then it's acceptable.

Cheesy dialogue. Acting seems forced. And I'm not comparing to the anime yet. Ain't no jazzy vibes here.

Good watch despite the lack of a big budget. No lasers nor anything fanciful. The alien thingie is just a metaphor. Rather it focuses on our human characteristics.

Entertaining enough but extremely cliche and predictable.
