If you're thinking about reading Love and Respect, I would encourage you to read Sheila Gregoire's critiques on this book first and then decide how you want to precede. Love and Respect is full of scripture taken out of context, prooftexting, old and unreliable "data," and advice that if applied could (and has) lead to abuse in marriages for decades. TLDR: it is trash.
