I have read harsh reviews on this film and just saw the film myself now and this is what I have to say: excellent movie. Excellent performances. I love how the story was told, it is a great homage to Whitney Houston, and Naomi Ackie delivers, big time. Work of love. I have found the choices made by the filmmakers were stunning. The concerts sequences were stunning. You can tell this complex story in many different ways maybe, ok I get that. But I wouldn’t want it any other way. This film is a gift, sealed with love.
