Its alright if you're a hardened soulsborne fan, but does feel a bit too familiar. The combat is a bit clunky in terms of the targeting system, that seems to not focus on immediate threats but in certain cases swaps to non-threatening targets behind the main mob. Also I think the frustration that most people have is some battles just dont make sense. The factors behind the outcome of any battle are many from weapon choice, current level and your proficiency with your own weapon and moveset to the awful targeting system, missed hits, parries and the enemies seeming adeptness with their own moveset - all can make for a very entertaining albeit somewhat frustrating battle if youre just aiming to have a bit of button mashing fun. But it does get better once you learn to excel at combat, time your rolls and back lunges and also know your enemies moves a bit better.

If you're a Career Mode enthusiast dont bother - scouted youth players names are not spoken by commentators...also a number of real life young talents are not spoken by commentators...the silence is unbearable late game ALSO there is no option to export your career mode team for play in kick off which means you're playing just for the f of it.

What a horrid pile of trash this game is. Gameplay is absolutely wrecked - AI ball retention is insane, you can never win a successful tackle (it just spills to next available AI player), AI is relentless and presses without losing stamina the entire match, slowest AI players are faster than even your fastest player, AI creates about 70% more chances than you, you have to have like 100% shooting accuracy to win a single match out of just 2 or 3 chances, the team with "better" players will win 95% of the time regardless how well you play, the AI intercepts every pass and marks your entire squad out of the game, you cant run the AI just gains ground on you instantaneously, the referee calls foul on everything even if those events arent even on screen, the AI creates chances out of nothing (1 pass will split your whole defense open) in contrast you struggle for 30 mins passing like a fool to create a single chance (the AI defense is like a stone wall), your players move like they have a hernia (the AI just slaps you and takes the ball away).

At first I rated it really low, but after learning the fighting mechanics...I honestly have not played a more immersive gladiator-colliseum-styled co-op than this. I loved it...but it could be better.
