Best take on the classic Godzilla based in Japan, but in a modern storytelling way! This movie fixed what the American Godzilla did wrong, the Story. Godzilla is simply a territorial nuclear monster. It doesn’t have a personality, it hunts, it kills. It doesn’t pick sides, it doesn’t have morals. This movie does a good job of portraying this. The movie is set right at the end and after the events of World War 1 and the dropping of the nuclear bombs. It shows the effect the war had on the people of Japan and this brings the main Characters together. Everything flows very smoothly. The story’s pace was almost perfect in my opinion (Other than one problem I won’t talk about due to spoilers) 10/10 I would definitely give this movie a go, and personally I will be watching this again very soon.
