Disrespectful to the novel and the people for twisting narratives. Watching this hurts my brains and the rating by majority of the people and pro reviewers speaks for it self, go woke go broke. It is a dissapointment how the film uses the popularity of a traditional novel for clout, but twist the characters into modern woke narratives that in the time of the book was not accurate of how the personailities and dynamics would be. Maybe to avoid getting cancelled, but as you can see Netflix already loss nearly 1million subscribers in Q2 2022, like everything that is woke, you go woke you go broke. There was no connection between the 2 lovers for me, it felt forced, awkward, not natural to actual life intergender dynamics. I feel sorry for any young generations that might pickup this narrative on how the gender attraction dynamic actually is specifically between the Ann and WW. With time people will learn the easier way or the hard way. Good luck out there.

Impressive. At first glance of the trailer was already surprised by the full Asian cast, after watching the movie I realize that the trailer did no justice (which was good in a sense because you go in with lower expectation). Game changer, IMDB rating is unrated by far.
