Good movie.. Quite realistic storyline.. Good acting.. Relatable..
The movie has addressed the issue of failure and has convincingly delivered the underlying message that it is true endeavors that matter. In today's world the youth is struggling to deal with parental pressure, peer pressure and loads of stress that causes them to take the ultimate drastic step when they fail. It tells that not qualifying a competitive exam doesn't mean the end of life.
Also in most of the Bollywood movies we see that at the final hour of judgement the protagonist miraculously does something outstanding and emerges victorious, but this movie has come up with a realistic ending of the GC.
Moreover, it doesn't show a picturesque hostel like we see in SOTY and SOTY2, rather it shows the hostel that every other Indian student goes to.
Sushant (Anni), Prateik (Raggie), Varun (Sexa), Naveen (Acid), Tushar (Mummy), Tahir (Derek) and Saharsh (Bevda) does justice to their roles. Shraddha as Maya, has a small part to play and she does it well. Like most Bollywood movies every boy in the college desires to become her boyfriend but she falls for Sushant. Mohammad Samad is Maya and Anni's son who are now divorced. He stays with his father and like every engineering aspirant he wishes to go to the best engineering college of the country. He freaks out when he learns that he is unable to get through JEE and in a fit of anxiety and stress he jumps off the balcony of his friend's room and ends up in a tattered state in the ICU.
Overall the movie is a good watch telling you that life is a mix of success and failures.
