I have a love hate relationship with this book. Where did the Jude we all loved and knew go? She was so tough in the first 2 books, but when I read this book she was so teary, emotional, and forgiving. How did she let Madoc off like that? And not to mention TARYN. Also, Why did she barely have any sword fights except for the one in the beginning with Grima Mog? She barely had nightfell on her in this book, even though she always brought it around with her in the other 2 books. Another thing is why did we barely have any scenes with Cardan? I loved him so much in this book but we scarcely had any time with him, but overall the only main complaint I have is with the change in Jude's personality, I feel making her look weak, and the lack of time we had with Cardan and Jude together. But no doubt this series was phenomenal and I can say I was satisfied with the ending.
