Literally only existing to reinforce racism by adhering to the sterotypes already existing about the Black community. It "teaches" White people to be "tolerant" to Black people and people of color by treating them like they need to be infantalized. This book is a literal disgrace of educational literature, because all it does is make it so the White race of today must be held accountable for what the White people of yesterday did. That makes no sense logically, because the White people of today did nothing wrong to deserve this. Lastly, it's disrespectful and patronizing to people of color, because it tells them that, instead of being treated as equal to White people as human beings, they should be treated as infantalized minorities that need to be coddled while White people walk on eggshells around them. As a latina, I'm disgusted by this book. It doesn't deserve the praise it got.
