So much negativity over a kids show? I mean really?! Personally, I was sad to see the show end. It was a wonderful addition to PBS kids. I think the simple drawings are geared towards children so they can relate better. I found the use of graphing paper incredibly clever. We still sing through songs whenever we do any counting, and it brings back great memories of watching Peg + her trusty side kick Cat. He always kept her grounded. On another note yea she can be dramatic with the “ really big problem” but aren’t most kids, and some adults just as dramatic? Studies show there are many over stimulating programs for kids now and it seems that’s not going away. I feel like those were the last of the simpler days like Mr. Rogers and Reading Rainbow. 🌈 It seems like these types of shows aren’t graphic enough to keep kids attention and that is truly a sad thing to see. Great show and I hope the creators bring it back. We could definitely use more of these shows in today’s times. Sadly most can’t even do simple math nowadays!
