The show itself has potential but is far from amazing. While the plot, character development, and fight scenes have their moments, they’re overshadowed by poor casting decisions that drag the entire production down. Using celebrity actors for the character voices was a massive misstep. Their overly recognizable voices constantly break the immersion, making it hard to focus on the story. The worst offender is Ali Wong. casting a 50-year-old to voice a 16-year-old girl is baffling. Her voice is so misaligned with the character that it ruins any emotional connection. This glaring issue persists throughout the entire cartoon, leaving viewers cringing instead of captivated. What could have been a standout series is ultimately a missed opportunity.
