This is an entertainment show and it obviously plays on human emotions. The judges played favorites to a contestant that was off tune, crying almost her whole audition, and should have been sent home to gain more confidence and develop her voice. Yet a young firefighter was the next audition that could carried a tune in the song he presented and he was sent home. It seems like this American Idol Show decides to pick contestants who they feel the public will feel sorry for and root for an underdog. It’s a shame that they sent the Jerimias Williams home who came from poverty and succeeded in becoming a firefighter.

Well adapted from the classic book. Clever transitions with current digital technologies. Colorful, honest reality in the innocence of growing up and making choices! I’m 68 years old...I laughed, teared up, and thoroughly enjoyed this ‘Ferdinand’!!!
