I’ve never reviewed a movie before now. I watched it last night. It was awful. I don’t know how it has any positive reviews. It’s 28 years later, but became 28000 years later when the “zombies” have somehow evolved into cave men/ indigenous people? It was all over the place. It was a waste of money. I’m so disappointed considering the last 2 I thoroughly enjoyed. I went into the movie so excited. Spoilers: a 12y/o sick mother is diagnosed with cancer from a doctor who is covered from head to toe in iodine living among the infected and the doctor incinerates the boys mother bc she is dying (what the actual f) the kid and (and what’s left of his mother- her skull) and her skull gaze into the sunset as if it’s supposed to be a precious moment- ended up be weird and disconnected. the end had a gang of Swiss/ hiphop/ pimp parkour group that magically save this 12 y/o boy who has decided to stay on the island of infected.
