The people leaving negative reviews have either 1.) only watched the first episode or 2.) do not understand the genre of the show and Tim Robinson’s sense of humor. If the genre / humor is not for you, that’s understandable - but to say that the acting and story are not compelling would be dishonest. The show follows a man falling into an absurd, often comical conspiracy. Absurdist humor often goes over the heads of literalist who can’t fathom that characters aren’t acting in “realistic” ways. To fully appreciate the show, suspend your disbelief, allow yourself to buy in to it, and the show will take you on an intriguing, funny, and subtly thought provoking journey.
