Painful if you've read the book. Just straight up a bad show if you haven't. Why would you adapt this for tv to be nonlinear? Just..why? Most of the major plot points but virtually none of the context, character development or anything else that makes this story incredible. (I have no idea what it's like to watch this show without having read the book but I imagine it comes across as confusing, disjointed and cheesy. Sick book, so check it out.)
