I guess we can't call it 7 years to Beta anymore. It's a great game but only because it is a melting pot of great features from other games. Probably the best thing they did is allow users to run their own servers and even play LAN. I still play it. It's a lot more stable than it used to be. Still far from being a completed game, yet well past the Alpha phase.
