This was such a great movie! I was balling even after the movie ended. So inspirational. It was a true story and Christy Martin’s story is a story of a true fighter in and outside the ring. Sydney Sweeney did so good. She played a more tomboy character, not her usual character. She had an accent. The way she carried herself in the film to depict Christy was not her typical demeanor and this takes skill. She also gained a bunch of weight for this part. I love when characters go as far as changing their own appearance like weight because it is a semi-permanent change. I don’t want to say much about the story because people should watch this! Also my finances boxed at a very high level and he agreed her boxing was not bad. Apparently she trained in a boxing gym when she was younger. Such a great story and great movie!
