Yes Sudha, I absolutely agree .... the pure innocence of the Pahari girl child, her mere happiness and the attention she attracts. Envy and jealousy follow with actions that only hurt the child and humiliate the village. In the end it is again the innocent pahari girl child and the goodness in her that forgives the man who had fallen in shame.
