Guy Richie really can only make one type of movie. Characters like cardboard cut-outs of all his other work. If you like a predictable plot and cheeky chappy cockney gangsters who dress well then this is for you. 🤦🏻

Nothing illustrates better how hard the climb out of soap operas to movies is than Michelle Keegans wholly unconvincing performance here. She’s completely out of her depth. If she had been a supporting cast member it would have been easy enough to live with this show but the fact that she’s trying to anchor the entire plot just lets down the rest of the cast. The storyline should be compelling but you’re just left open-jawed at her narrow emotionless monotone. I’m sure she’s perfectly good enough to get viewers through their weekly dose of Coronation Street but please leave anything more than that to the professionals.
