Another TV series that should have been a two hour movie. The story develops in a staggering slow speed. The triangle arrangement between the Sun's, the bad guys and the police has been used up so many times before. Nothing thrilling or exciting in this show instead it is as ordinary and boring as it gets. Only good thing are the fight sences.

Despite the good characters and the filming nothing is really going on in this show. I watched 6 episodes alone then told my wife in 5 minutes the entire story.

Why do they always have to save the Galaxy or the entire Universe? It seems saving a single planet or two people isn't good enough anymore. There is also too much of everything, tears, emotions, hugging and most importantly too much dramatic background music. The music is a disaster! However, the worst of all is the fact that they made a series around my most hated Star Trek concept, the mirror universe. I hated it already on DS9, despite DS9 being my favourite show. I mean time travel I can barely stand but the parallel universe is something I really do not like and will never like. Why can we not have a new Star Trek show driven by political drama and conspiracy? A reboot of DS9 is what I want to see.

This show started out great but I got seriously annoyed by Janet. With every season she got worse. There is nothing what I like about her character. Every minute of screentime with her is painful. After watching season 5 I honestly think, ending the show now is a good thing. I can't stand her anymore Anyhow, anybody else in the show is great and funny, especially the parents and Shannon.

This is even more ridiculous than the earlier movies. Mayan pyramids in Peru? Paved roads in the middle of the jungles? I am not even Peruvian or Mexican but already feel insulted.

Change of my review!! 2nd review: 5 stars after watching 2 seasons: I admit the first episodes are confusion, slow and very complex. I watched lots of recap videos on YouTube to understand the characters, places and factions. However, now at the end of season 2, I have to say I have never seen a better SciFi show with a better story. It is worth to go through the pain of the first season. It pays off! 1st review: 2 Stars after watching 7 episodes: Whoever mixed the sound should get fired! It's impossible to watch this show without subtitles.

This show is a masterpiece. A masterpiece of "a lot of things happen but nothing is relevant". The first two episodes were great but then absolutely nothing happened to move the plot forward. Instead the story pretends to be convoluted but really isn't. The storyline circles in endless loops, goes one step forward then three steps backwards. It bored me to sleep multiple times. I made it through the first season with fast forward, simply to see the disappointing end I was expecting anyway. At least I wasn't disappointed about that.

So they put the people in the spaceship, put them to sleep and when they wake up they don't know each other. They seriously didn't introduce them before they send them out for a humankind saving mission? Well planned! Also they figured out how to travel faster than light but still need to "slingshot" around a star to accelerate like the Apollo missions did. They also have holograms who can touch and move matter but still need to send real humans on the mission. With the real time to Earth communication they also seem to have, could they not just have all holograms and control them in real time from Earth? Furthermore, the crewmates don't seem to get along at all! Very logical to send a bunch of people on a space mission to safe the world who don't know each other, and don't like each other. Seriously, that's the most stupid plot I have ever seen!!!

Gosh, perfect hair after being chased in the rain, struck by a car and having a ER surgery. The nurses must have washed it and put conditioner in. I turned it off after 15 minutes. The plot is predictable. The only unknown is if she survives or not. I saved 70 min of my life and looked it up online.

Well, how to start. I know most tv shows you need to give it two or three episodes to get used to the characters, to the story and maybe you will like it. However, I watched the first episode and shortly after 10 min I fast forwarded as nothing of any relevance happened. It reminded me on the Walking Dead where I watched and understood an entire season by only watching the 1min recap in the beginning of each episode. Why are movie and TV show maker stretching every story out as much as they can. The first episode had relevant content of about 5 min, everything else is just time fillers. I give a thumbs down.
