First and foremost, this series is truly original and 200% worth your time - more so, if you love cinema - especially the black and white era! After a very long time, I watched something Indian which is so well written and so well made. You fall in love with each character ridden with equal amounts of good and evil, overpowering passion and a sense of misplaced self-righteousness! Every actor outshines the other, every reference to the real era steals your heart and all the songs inspired by the originals are equally melodious! If only we had more such makers, our soulful actors (the likes of Ram Kapoor) would have been spared a lifetime of waste on daily soaps. Aparshakti is tremendously lucky to have landed that role and yes, he does full justice to it. But my heart skipped a beat for Jay & Nilofer too! And of course, Ram Kapoor's Walia Saab is unforgettable. ©️
