The more the show progressed the more I liked it.i think the storyline and plotlines are well done and I did laugh here and there.Its a good comfort show.I also liked Joel's character- he did truly step up in ways marriage vows could never accommodate.The relationship with their daughter is also fun to watch.I love how witty she is and also a badass.
