Whatever happened to the Winchester Hospital Radio label? They compiled brilliant albums of obscure library music such as this, which is mainly composed of oddities from educational TV programmes of the 70s and 80s: interlude and test card music, and a few theme tunes. This selection has a more pastoral, chamber music vibe than a lot of the funky, brassy library music of the time. Lots of classical guitars, flutes, woodwinds and harpsichords. A rare gem, which goes for a pretty penny on discogs.
