Beautiful in every way. Except when it made me cry. That wasn’t cool man.

This had nothing to do with the original Sharkboy and Lavagirl movie so it was really disappointing when they didn’t connect the two apart from giving lava girl like 2 lines and both Sharkboy and Lavagirl weren’t important characters at all. Their kid guppy was the only good actor. The four year old was a better actor than the adults and other kids. If this had nothing to do with the original movie it could have had potential but why tie in a classic movie when it had nothing to do with it at all? It was just a cringy movie over all. Guppy was great though. No hate to the kids but I thought the adults would at least be better actors. So many inconsistencies and plot holes. I was at least hoping we’d find out where Sharkboys dad was but Sharkboy didn’t even talk.

Why remake a classic show only to make it worse. Where’d the representation go?? I genuinely don’t understand where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. Like have y’all never seen the original. The entire show was whitewashed and Mrs. Frizzle looks so boring. If you wanna watch the magic school bus so badly just watch the original not this garbage. This show is so disappointing it hurts.
