There's been some somewhat bad faith critiques about this film but I think that it is both exactly what it advertises - a reunion movie that twists and expands upon the end of the first one - while also managing to keep some narrative threads out of the trailers and be a different story than the original is a testament to it. If you're a fan of the first movie, chances are high you're going to like this one. Sometimes getting exactly what is advertised is ok and this movie delivers on those fronts beautifully.
