English is my second language. I started to read books written in English language because I was trying to learn it and improve my English fluency. It was a suggestion by an English tutor in a language lab course I enrolled during my middle school years. I grabbed 2 available books, that were labeled as the children story book in English language, and chose them mindlessly but it turned out the best choice I made. It were The Cricket in The Times Square and The Ballet Shoes For Anna. I still have the later title but lost the George Selden's book. Somebody borrowed it and later turned it back but in ruined condition. So, I was heartbroken and neglected it. I was still too young to regard the book and didn't know how to fix it. Then, I lost it forever when we moved out the old house. Now I have the newer edition of printed book in my middle age years. I cherish this book, the story, the moral of the story with better perception. I love the story and because of it, I cherish my belongings and life. The story really continues to make me growing up more each time I rereading it with new perspective.
