I saw the first episode and was absolutely hooked on this charming
series which explores the dynamics of human relationships that somehow come out right at the end. The characters tug on one's heartstrings and you walk away thinking about them long after.
The "Master" or chef/owner of the diner, has a perpetual wry, witty look on his face as he observes the foibles and endearing weaknesses of the regulars who dine and seek the comfort of others and the food in his diner. He stands like a silent Samurai, cooking and lovingly caring for his patrons.
I'll be sad to see the three seasons end and will miss seeing these
wonderful characters. Well, I'll just have to start all over and watch it again.
Highly recommended!
